Objectives
DE&I Council’s 3 OKRs follow Mendoza’s Three Cs: We are inviting practitioners, staff and faculty, who will contribute, and cooperate with others together as the team of teams, and compete to be the best version of themselves.
Objective 1: Contribute
Uphold and Shape Mendoza's Culture of Encounter
Key Results:
Organize or co-organize biannual large staff & faculty encounters
Utilize and create physical space and weekly conversation prompts for the daily encounters
Make DE&I related efforts more visible and accessible to Mendoza faculty and staff
Objective 2: Cooperate with Others
Cultivate Inclusive Community & Employee Belonging
Key Results:
Embrace true teamwork, team of teams approach towards cooperative cross-functional working groups and committees supporting inclusive projects and initiatives
Invite Faculty and seek to better understand faculty needs, increase faculty participation to 15%
Develop an onboarding process for new practitioners
Objective 3: Compete Toward Being the Best Version of Oneself
Promote Equity: Personal and Professional Development
Key Results:
Encourage monthly deep dives into DE&I awareness in specific areas through topic focused encounters and authentic conversations
Host or go in groups to at least four ND DE&I-related or cultural events
Share and encourage discussion around DE&I related educational resources
